曲:Te Amo - 蘇兒真havent been blogging - straightup procrastinating, id say. jess and yt and dawn left yesterday. i wasnt gg to cry, but when i saw jen and jess tearing i suddenly thought what huge pillars yt and jess have been in my three yrs of poly life. sure, we've had our problems, our disagreements, but they've been there for me when i needed it. and yt, no matter what, dun worry, you'll have the best times of ur lives there, okay? =) do email back often, we'll miss all of u so much. just finished a book i got for, as it says on the inside cover, being the Best in English in primary 4 - The Dividing Sea. it was a book too cheem for me in primary 4, but ive reread it a few times over the years, and it never fails to touch me. i know its part of a series, so im filled with renewed curiosity to find the other 3 books. andre introduced me to a great great deal online now for mac laptops, you can get a freaking nano for $18 if u buy it together with the laptop. goodness. im so glad i put off buying the macbook. u get a rebate of $470 if u buy a 32gb ipod touch as well. wahraos. so anyone wanting to get a mac and not use the rebate, please let me know so that andre can tompang. bumped into edmond and edmund (hah) at bb mac ytd when i was there with dre, had such a great time laughing over stupid stuff.. they are so funny. glad i managed to catch up with them. its always these talks that remind me of how great yi was. i was so lucky to meet funny people. dy's back in armee. he looks like lu dannn! with my rifle and my lu dan and meeeeeevelda. jealousy.
'I know a hundred ways of love, just reread [sleeping murder] by agatha christie, one of the many stories that shook me up the first time i read it. and the quote just seems so sad and appropriate for the tone of the story. just wanted to know where the quote was from, but its not anywhere online. i wonder if agatha christie made it up as a quote herself. jealousy is not a pretty thing, and it happens most often in females. i mean, we get jealous of everything, dont we? guys don't really care, most of the time. if its tt way, its meant to be, or something like tt. but for us, it not just an obsession, i think its innate. its just how we deal with it. and sometimes, we might go overboard, and forget our principles, only to regret it later. just a thought. =) weirded out.
曲:好想要揮霍 - 盧廣仲genting was tiring as hell, spent most of the time looking after my littlest cousins. it was kind of cold, though, so that was fun. and i havent sat thrill rides in a long time. but now, im just freakishly tired. the motion sickness pills do work too, which was a blessing. dy's in armee now, and his msg that day made me laugh out loud. he's BOTAK now! i rmb we laughed about him getting his head shaved, because he has this ginormous head that makes everyone else's shrink and pale in comparison. well, ill see him when he comes out two weeks later bah. everything's moving rather fast now, jess and yt are leaving for melbs soon, and school's starting for me as well. i admit i havent been very diligent in doing my french lessons. i went through my mastered words list just now and i found that ive forgotten like a few words. shucks. been feeling rather empty these few days as well, i think it intensifies now tt andy's gone into some pulau. maybe a bit of agatha christie can save me. 知らないですけど、やはり寂しいですかね。彼を考え過ぎと、自分が独りぼっちですっと気付いたんだ。 悪い事をしたと分かります。この自分がちょっと嫌い。頑張んなきゃ。 need. sleep. *edit: oh and EFF it now tt i nearly forgot its nino's birthday. woots! like what, 25 yrs old now? arashi's getting middle-aged. velda. minuit.
曲:情永落 - 侧田sometimes in the middle of the night when its peaceful and quiet you get to collect your thoughts, and think about things, while listening to good music. its lovely to see happy blogs, to read happy posts. once a long time ago, someone commented that my blog was happy - the old diary-x one - and she said that its seldom you see that anymore. i agree with that, just as much as i agree that blogs are a place where one gets to pour out his frustration and sadness into. still, its a great pleasure to read happy posts. =) the akihabara stabbing spree shocked everyone, i cnt believe that such a thing is happening in real just as i was getting up from bed this morning. near the JR akihabara station, where the four of us once stood. the last update is that seven people have been killed. witnesses were saying, it was quietly done in the crowd, no one noticed until it was too late? andy's enlisting this saturday =( we're all starting our new lives in the course of the next month or so, its scary to realise that poly cnt last forever, and everyone has to move ahead some time or other. but of course it brings with it excited emotions and wonder. french is sort of killing me, its the pronunciation basically. i know, self study wont allow me to master the language, but it has helped, in a way, by introducing me to the language, and all the comment allez-vouses and qui est-ces are confusing me quite a bit. but it was kind of cool to understand the umpire in the french open final just now. just the scores lah. >_< ive got so many thoughts in my head i want to pour them all out, but somehow im stuck. i dont feel like sleeping tonight. maybe ill read something till 5am then fall asleep when the birds start chirping. =) velda. nintendogs.
曲:The Call - Regina SpektorNINTENDOGS is so effing fun, i cnt believe i used to think it was stupid to look after a fake dog on the ds. but the dogs are so lifelike, and essentially, its a game, so it all works. for all aspiring or existing dog-owners, the puppies are super duper cute. how i wish i had gotten the nintendogs limited edition metallic rose ds console now with the paw print on the front. ![]() I like. much much. and anws, i have a shiba inu puppy like ichiro suzuki! haha. its addictive, i tell you. and ANDY the bompeepee got a DS as well! he couldnt handle me snatching MY DS away from him so he can stop playing mario kart and i can play other stuff. so we just spent some time racing each other in mario kart using the ds wireless system. v easy, and v cool. on the more academic side of things, i just finished another haruki murakami book, hard-boiled wonderland and the end of the world, probably the book tt sort of skyrocketed him to fame in japan. it's a er, according to the blurb, science fic + detective story + post-modern manifesto all rolled into one. it was not easy to read at all, im used to straightforward stuff, but somehow, it kept me stuck to the book till the end. i was thinking science-fiction is not my cup of tea at all. and whats the deal with the unicorns?! but it was graceful, the story, had some sort of elegance to the whole thing. =) great shows on discovery channel this june, FIGHT QUEST about two fighters gg all over the world learning about the ancient martial art forms practised in each country. what makes it good are the two co-hosts, very likeable. and what else.. ooh mythbusters new episodes! mum always laughs when adam acts all mad scientist-ey. dirty jobs is always cool. so tts monday, tuesday and thursday nights. but AXN has numb3rs new season, house new season, AND csi: new york new season out by next week as well. what the! tv fight. =( not good for me who has to search for repeats to each episode. velda. |
